Open to members of the Explorer’s Club

We will have our next Atlanta Explorer’s Club dinner and presentation at Manuel’s Tavern on 16 September (602 N. Highland Ave, Atlanta, 30307; see https://manuelstavern.com/).We will have drinks at 6:30, the meal at 7:00, and follow that with a presentation by Dr. Cassandra Quave from Emory University (see https://etnobotanica.us/). Cassy is a member of our club, and her recently published book "The Plant Hunter: A Scientist’s Quest for Nature’s Next Medicine’s" was listed as one of the best books of the year by Kirkus Reviews. Copies of “The Plant Hunter” will be available for sale and signing at the event before dinner
