New book cover reveal and paperback preorder details!

paperback cover
I'm so excited to share the official paperback cover for my science memoir, The Plant Hunter! This photo was taken by fabulous Emory photographer, Ann Watson, during a field expedition with my students at The Jones Center at Ichauway. In the background, you may spot the tall long-leaf pines and a gorgeous blanket of ferns in the ground cover. I'm holding medicinal Rudbeckia (black-eyed Susan), in hand. The paperback will be out on June 14, 2022 with a list price of $18. Links to pre-order are available HERE.

Fasting-Mimicking Diet with Dr. William Hsu

FP 411 William Hsu Photo 2
Humans have practiced the art of fasting across cultures and religions over millennia. But its only just in the past few years that the science behind how fasting impacts our health has begun to emerge. This week, I speak with Dr. William Hsu, Chief Medical Officer at L-Nutra. Dr. Hsu walks us through the different modalities of fasting and how this practice can lead to a longer healthspan.
